Nelson Mandela the inspirational leader of South Africa was far more than a President of this troubled nation. He was a role model for people around the world who have wanted to bring about change. This topic focuses on what can we learn from this man's life experiences and his character, especially his ability to effect change. The topic will ask students: what might inspire them to think about standing up for something they believe in and creating change. There are opportunities for debate, discussion and feedback as well as a downloadable worksheet related to effecting change. The prezi is graphic and video rich so you would be advised to set it up prior to delivery.
