With World Water Day and Earth Hour this week the emphasis has to be on environmental issues. The focus of this week's SMSC tutorial is the morality of green issues. We ask if there is an ethical responsibility to be green? Some dramatic statistics show how wasteful we're being as a human race. Do we have altruistic responsibilities towards people who live in areas where terrible water shortages mean the difference between life and death - yet in Britain we're wasteful of water! Earth Hour challenges our integrity - what will you do in their dare, "I Will, If You Will?" A great opportunity to inspire your students to take green action. A free worksheet provides more activities too.
